"The place was in massive need of renovation, the drains were smelly and taking a shower in this bathroom made me feel dirtier than before the shower.
Saying that, the location was very close to my bus pickup for the great wall. And the staff were absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and very helpful, they gave me a free room upgrade to a bigger room as I had so much luggage and they also kept a luggage for me for three days for free. If I was ranking based on the staff only, I would give them 5 starts."

"Located near Tian'anmen Square and lots of restaurants and shopping. But because it's in the center of the city, there's lots of traffic if you decide to travel by taxi. The hotel was acceptable, but definitely could use some maintenance/cleaning. The carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. There was a lot of hard water residue on the shower faucet. Standing in the shower creaked and bowed slightly.
There's a 24hr ”restaurant,” but it's more fast food/snacks.
*** This hotel has 3 names?? When I made the reservation on Trip.com the name was Yitingzhenshe Hotel. That's what's on my confirmation email. But at some point the name on Trip.com changed to Yard Hotel Beijing. BUT the name on the key card holder they gave me is Xin Mingji Hotel."

"We had a perfect stay in this hotel with special atmosphere and great services. The restaurant in the hotel is also good.

"As a Muslim traveller, this hotel was generally a pleasant stay. There’s a 24/7 convenience store just across the road, which is very handy.
The rooms are spacious with a massive TV, though it’s a bit disappointing that Netflix and YouTube are only available in Chinese. The bathroom and shower area are clean, though the open ceiling means there’s a slight water smell at times.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I stayed here with my wife, and we both found the staff amazing. Breakfast was decent — not many halal options, but the kitchen staff were kind enough to make omelettes and accommodate us where possible.
The “gym” is quite limited and not really a full gym setup, and water bottles are restricted. However, there’s a big working area, bike rentals nearby, and the location is fairly good overall. The restaurant next door serves excellent food with great quality.

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It was a good base for us to explore beijing for 5 days. The hotel room had been renovated not long ago, so everything was new looking. Room was spacious, space for luggage, bathroom equipped with a shower and bathtub. Room was serviced everyday, well clean by 女士郭海花. She was observant and added a personal touch by adding kids toothbrush sets for us. The hotel also has a gym with sufficient equipment, comes with an indoor pool too. Buffet was decent too, plenty of food.
Subway: it was about 4mins walk to the elevator(beside adidas) down to jing yu hu tong station, line 8. Deng shi kou, line 5 can be reached too in 7mins.
Location: hotel located at the end of the wang fu jing pedestrian street. Malls line the street. Apm mall in the middle, roughly a 12mins walk from apm mall to hotel.
Overall, the hotel is value for money. But if require subway to be right below the hotel then this hotel might not be so suitable. If 5mins is ok then go for it!"

MM479976****The Siheyuan (courtyard house) is absolutely stunning, with beautiful courtyard and balcony views that make it incredibly photogenic. Despite being located right on Qianmen Street, it's surprisingly quiet. The rooms are quite spacious; for example, in the twin rooms, one bed is positioned against the wall, which is perfect for families with small children as you don't have to worry about them falling out. The front desk staff were very friendly, warm, and patient. Its location also offers extremely convenient access to all the major attractions.

GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised to find the room was more spacious than it appeared in the photos! It was well-thought-out and ergonomic, with many great amenities.
The room was equipped with an electric kettle, a refrigerator for drinks, regularly refilled complimentary drinking water (both cold and room-temperature), carbonated drinks such as cola and schweppes, master lights control panel (from the bed you can turn all the light in the room off, turn on\off only some, close the window with the screen and more), WIFI, slippers, AC, big TV and more. Honestly, I didn't feel like I was missing anything.
One small note: due to local regulations, items like toothbrushes and toothpaste aren't left in the room, but are available upon request at the front desk. It's a minor inconvenience, but understandable.
The location is excellent. It's in a good district, close to the metro, several bus stops, multiple shopping malls, and many restaurants and parks. It's also not too far from the main sightseeing spots.
The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided and the drinks refilled. I got used to having a cola every night after my shower and always found a cold bottle waiting for me! The only small issue was that the housekeeping staff would always open the window screen after I had closed it, which I found a bit puzzling.
Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free.
The first floor has several shared facilities, including a gaming machine and a billiard table, which I didn't use but are a nice bonus.
All said, good place to say, would definitely think about choosing this one on my next trip!

It wa surprising how nice the room was given the type of hotel it is. I would highly recommend for anyoen in a similar situation-perfect place to recharge after a long journey. i'm not sure I'd want to stay there for an extended stay but it's perfect for a quick stop. Most people arrivin gto Beijig by train from the west of China will arrive at Beijig West station and thi splace is literally a 5 minute walk from th enorth exit.

The key highlight is their fantastic airport shuttle service, which is incredibly convenient for guests with overnight layovers or late arrivals. SShelley_xyThe room was spacious and very close to Happy Valley. We chose this hotel because we were traveling with children. I've stayed with this brand in many locations and usually have a good impression, but my experience in Beijing this time was quite disappointing.
The main issues were with the service. At check-in, our room was changed three times because the room types didn't match our booking. Then, the room wasn't even ready, and we were told we'd have to wait until the afternoon to check in. They promised to send our luggage to the room, and I specifically arranged with the front desk for extra bedding so our child could sleep on the sofa. I was also assigned parking space #90. We then headed out to explore Beijing.
However, when we arrived back at the hotel parking lot at 12:13 AM, the parking attendant wouldn't let me proceed. He claimed my car wasn't registered and my license plate wasn't linked to the reserved space #90. This whole ordeal took over half an hour. I was told I had to go back to the front desk to re-register before I could enter the garage, and even then, I was assigned a different parking spot.
Upon finally reaching our room, we discovered that only our luggage had been delivered; none of the promised extra bedding was there. Furthermore, despite booking for three people, the additional towels we requested were also missing. With no night-duty staff available, it took a considerable amount of time and effort to find blankets and sheets. By the time all these issues were finally resolved, it was already 1:30 AM. It was truly an unbearable experience.
Additionally, regarding the breakfast restaurant, could the temperature please be adjusted? It was uncomfortably hot.

AAnonymous UserI booked this hotel as it's very well located between the two airports and very well deserved by the tube in a very nice neighbourhood where you can truly see the everyday life of lovely Chinese people. Following the initial booking for a very nice room, there was an issue and tye management were so professional that they upgraded me for free to the executive suits which was absolutely stunning and beautiful and outstanding views of the whole city at the top floor. The room was spacious, and bathrooms were breathtaking. The management were very nice to me every time and even though they didn't speak English they were always trying to help. The hotel is located around many shops, restaurants and two Hugh malls located around changyiang metro which is direct to forbidden city and tianmen Square. I must admit that I stayed in the last few days but I ended up staying over 5 days because all the rooms are very large, with beautiful views and the breakfast is also very good. The overall impression is that Chinese management is always trying to help you. So, like me, if you are from Europe, do not book a Western brand and be courageous to book a Chinese hotel and experience their kindness and good hearth. I will give top grading to this hotel and will recommend it highly to all my European tourists.

GGuest UserOur 3-day stay with them was overall a good experience. Everything went smoothly, and they provided almost everything we needed during our time there. However, we had a very disappointing experience at checkout.
After checking out, we returned to pick up our luggage and asked if we could use a bathroom to freshen up and let our kids pee before heading to Shanghai via sleeper train. They told us they were fully booked and couldn’t provide access to any of their bathrooms. I asked if we could just use a restroom in the lobby, but surprisingly, they said they didn’t have one and directed us to a public toilet two blocks away—even though it was raining heavily that day.
It’s very hard to believe that a hotel wouldn’t have at least one restroom available in the lobby for guests, especially families with small children. That should be a basic necessity. There was no consideration at all, and it left us disappointed and frustrated.
As for the location, it’s good for tourists looking for food and souvenirs. There are convenience stores nearby, but if you’re hoping to shop for clothes, shoes, or other mall-type items, there’s nothing like that in the area.
